Hardwood Creek Trailhead – It All Starts Here!

Bring your bikes, your skates, and hiking shoes in the summer and bring your snowmobiles, in the winter.  You can hop on the trail across from the Hugo Feed Mill.  You will find parking and trail access and a 9.5 mile trek north to Forest Lake.   You can stay on the trail and ride up to North Branch passing through Forest Lake, Wyoming and Stacy before reaching your current trail end.

Plans are in place to someday continue the trail in Wyoming down to Taylors Falls.  This will indeed be a beautiful ride and I hope it comes to fruition sooner than later.

By the way sometimes you are lucky enough to see a horse and rider on the soft mowed area that sits beside the trail.  I know I always get excited when I see a horse and rider.  makes me want to turn in my bike for the four legged luxury.  If you would like more information you can check out the link below.
