Land of 10,000 Lakes Takes Stand on Phosphates

Today marks the first day of a new era.  Minnesota and 15 other states have banned phosphate in dishwasher soap.

Phosphates are known to cause algae growth in lakes and streams.  This algae growth causes much more than that nasty green color in the water.  Read on at the website below.
